Just to clarify our spot prizes are awarded on a randomly selected basis from the loyal entrants to our challenges. We couldn't possibly choose a winner by picking out the best cards. Way toooo difficult as they are all so good!

Gina, can you please e-mail the team at
bahbahhumbug@yahoo.co.uk with your snail mail address within 4 days to claim your prize. No we are not letting on what the surprise is as that would spoil it for Gina.

Challenge 33 - Charms...

We have been totally blown away this week by all the fantastic entries to our Winter Wonderland Challenge and it may interest you to know that we received the highest number of submissions so far this year.
Thank you all so much for your continued support and enthusiasm xxx
Many of the gorgeous projects you shared definitely oozed WOW-Factor as we visited your blogs and we're hopeful that you will enjoy our next theme just as much ... if not more.
This week we challenge you to include
CHARMS
Most of us have one or two lying around in a drawer, be they metal or enamelled ... BUT if not then don't panic!
Why not try making your own from metallic card with punches? ... or stamp onto shrink plastic/acetate and colour with permanent markers or glitter glues? Peel off stickers are perfect for 'faux charms' if placed onto metallic or glitter card and cut out. Then you just need to dangle them from pretty ribbon or wire and jobs'a'good'un.
Let your imagination loose, experiment and see what happens. You may actually surprise yourself!
The team have some examples here to give your tastebuds a tickle so if you'd like to know more details then pop over to our personal blogs by clicking the linked names below.

The deadline for this challenge is
12 noon (UK time)
Thursday 2nd September 2010
You are free to create whatever you like ... it doesn't have to be a card ... in fact, show us as many different projects as you want to share.
Just remember ... the most important thing is to have fun and don't forget to leave us a direct link to your project in our comment box so we can come and admire your creativity.

"Sleigh Bells ring ... are you listening?
In the lane ... snow is glistening.
A beautiful sight ... we're happy tonight
Walking in a Winter Wonderland"
And THAT'S our theme for this week.  We want you to show us your interpretation of a
Winter Wonderland
You probably have a gazillion magically fantastic ideas cramming your creative senses already ... but don't be selfish!  Get them outta' your head, make them real and share them with us  The DT examples are shown below should you need any inspiration and they're all very different but hopefully there's something there that tickles your festive fancy.  Just click our names to visit our blogs for more details about the supplies and methods we have used.

The deadline for this challenge is

12 noon (UK time)

Here to stay ... is a new bird.
He sings a love song ... as we go along
Walking in a Winter Wonderland"

**Let's Make Cards!**

Subscribers and regular readers of Lets Make Cards magazine may have already spied that Bah! Humbug! received a notable mention in their latest issue 35.
This month it is packed full of creative Christmas ideas and provides a fun contemporary Christmas card kit for those who have yet to make a start on their 2010 collection.
Thanks to Tanya from the LMC team for contacting us and requesting permission to include our blog in the Early Bird feature, giving 10 reasons how you can be organised for the festive season.   We are chuffed to bits!

Challenge 31 - Angels and Fairies

We were treated to some fabulous creations for our 'Through The Window' challenge and once again were very impressed at the high standard of entries being submitted. Understandably given the time of year, where holidays and family fun affects craft-time for us all, the participation numbers are lower than usual but that makes us even more appreciative of everyone who found time to join in with us. Thank you all.
We have a bit of housekeeping to do before we move on to our next challenge and are delighted to announce that this month's lucky random winner of the super stamp set is none other than last month's Guest Designer
WhooHoo ... Congratulations Debs!
Please e-mail your snail mail details to us at bahbahhumbug@yahoo.co.uk within 4 days and we will arrange to send your prize out.
Soooooo no doubt you're all keen to know what topic we have in store for you this week?
Your clues are
... floaty and fragile
... sweetness and innocence
... wings and halos
Naaaaaaaah ... It's not us 3 Bah Humbuggers ... although we do fit the criteria ... well some of us do LOL.
What we are actually looking for is
Angels and Fairies
We know you'll have a multitude of awesome Christmas Angels with shiny halos and fabulous Christmas Fairies with sparkly wings hiding in your craft boxes. We want you to lift them gently from the dark drawers, unfurl their beautiful wings and let them shine on your projects this week.
If your halo is choking your creative juices or you're looking for a sprinkle of fairy inspiration, check out our project details by clicking our names below.
The deadline for this challenge is

Challenge 30 - Through the Window...

We were really proud to see that you weren't scared to get torn into our last challenge and stick 2 fingers up to the nasty, evil creature in the basement ... who obviously thought you wouldn't dare to play along. WRONG!
Well done everyone!
It's now August and we've already passed the halfway mark with our 2010 challenges - UNBELIEVEABLE! We're all chuffed to bits that Bah! Humbug! has developed so many loyal followers who join us every week and willingly share their ideas with everyone. Incredibly, some of you are already very close to achieving the minimum number of 30 entries to be eligible for inclusion in our Christmas Prize Draw. Don't worry though as there's still plenty of time left to qualify for those who haven't been with us from the start or haven't managed to play every week.

As this is the first challenge of a new month, we have a prize on offer and you have to admit that this selection of Christmas Greeting Clear Art Stamps would be a welcome addition to anyone's stash, with a lovely choice of fonts to suit any style of project.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of owning this super stamp set is to join in with this week's challenge
Through The Window
Obviously you will need to feature some kind of window on your project but you decide whether to depict a scene, (eg. looking into or out of a window), simply cut or punch a hole to make an aperture/window or actually create a window on your project, one which opens and closes to show an image behind. Let your own imagination decide and, should you need a little inspiration, check out our project details by clicking our names below. You'll notice there are only 3 of us this month as unfortunately our intended Guest Designer had to withdraw, but hopefully one of us will have done enough to tickle your crafty tastebuds!
