We could never have guessed how many different ways there are to use doilies in craftworld ... UNTIL you showed us your delightful entries last week. You certainly inspired us to regard this humble item with a lot more respect and give it more space in our stash in future. Thank you very much to everyone who joined in.
Now we're wondering what exciting and innovative things you can create with this week's theme
Ann and Carole have stepped up to the mark as always, and their examples are shown below. If you would like to know more details or leave a comment, ('cos we love comments), please click on the links above each card.

Good morning.....I was awake at the normal time despite being on holiday, so I took a peep at this week's challenge...........you don't like to make it easy for us do you?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration, I will pop over to both your blogs later.
Hopefully I will be back later in the week with some creation of my own- I will be busy over the weekend with family visiting.
Janet
Alright who can I blame for this one. Max got the blame for the doilies, and Irene for the crackers is it Ann's turn lol. Scratching my head at the mo but will come up with something I'm sure. Debs xx
ReplyDeleteyep guilty as charged - sorry - it isn't as hard as it first sounds honestly Debs. Breath one two three and please don't panic!!!
ReplyDeleteAnn xxx
EEEK! Irene was crackers AND doilies - I'm the kind humbugger who chooses easy themes like buttons/bows ... although I confess the stencils were my idea so probably deserve a wee slap for that one LOL! Am sure you will rise to the challenge - can't wait =)

ReplyDeleteI do still have 2 days left don't I?
Hi Ann & Max - another great challenge and some great DT cards again. You can find my card here.
ReplyDeleteI saved CDs for years but never knew what to do with them and finally threw them out....had to ask DH if he had one he could spare for this challenge! In the end it worked out well, I think, and led to another idea which I haven't time to play with right now but will keep on ice for later. Now I'll go and peek at everyoine else's (I never look first in case I get disheartened or want to copy!)

Whew! Ladies, you really know how to stretch our creativity! When you see my post here you will see a simple CD holder, but I haven't given up on altering the actual CDs with ink.... when I get the right inks! Love 'n' hugs!
ReplyDeleteThis was a very enjoyable challenge - great DT crafting. My CD card is here x
ReplyDeleteWell, I thought I had quite the project until I looked at everyone else's creation. I don't think I was nearly as clever. However, I still think Granny will want hers.

Well I put my effort on my blog yesterday but have just realised that I forgot to put the link here. I think the CD is a bit heavy for a card front but I enjoyed doing it, so here it is
ReplyDeleteOk my card looks a bit dull, which it isn't but at least I've had a go. You will find this masterpiece on my blog
