Challenge 25 Penguins...

In true British Summertime tradition, the rain has been lashing down in perfect time for Wimbledon but we Humbuggers haven't had time to loll around scoffing strawberries and cream or sipping pink champagne.
Oh NO SIRREE ... we've been far too busy making sure we were prepared for this week's challenge after being MIA last week, but when we did "Feel a little P-Peckish" we were more inclined to "P-P-P-Pick up a Penguin!"   Those who recognise this TV jingle shouldn't worry about us spoiling our svelte figures though because this is the theme for our Bah! Humbug! Challenge this week and the only penguins we've been picking up haven't been of the chocolate biscuit variety ... unfortunately LOL.  Christine and Wendy have, not surprisingly, come up trumps again, producing fabulous cards to share with us and we'd like to thank them both for being such wonderful Guest Designers this month.  Sadly this is their final week in the spotlight here at Humbug Hall ... *SIGH* ... we will really miss having them around the place but have thoroughly enjoyed their visit and plan to hang their portraits in our Rogues  ... ermmm ... Guest Gallery in the Grand Hall alongside all our previous Guest Designers.
If you'd like to know more details about this week's DT projects, or just want to leave some love for Ann, Max, Christine and Wendy,  please click on the links above each image to visit our personal blogs.  We always appreciate your comments and opinions.

Challenge 24 Scarves and Mittens....

Scarves and mittens - we're having kittens...
as there are no cards or gift bags or even tiny tags to put on display from the Humbug Hall craft rooms.  Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!
There is plenty of moaning and groaning though and it's not the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present or Future making the blood curdling noises that are echoing down our drafty corridors.
Oh dear no!
In the far north wing Max has been struck down by a dreadful bug and has spent much of the week doing an impersonation of Moaning Myrtle in the smallest room of the hall.  Oh poor Max - let's hope she will be back to her normal self as soon as possible.
Now as for Ann well she never is quite normal!
This week it's all been happening (you may have heard the screams of excitement) in the Yorkshire wing of Humbug Hall.  Our Ann has become a Grandma.  A first time Grandma!  Now as you can imagine her head is even further up in the clouds than it is normally and that's pretty high!  All she can concentrate on is baby cuddles and kisses and who can blame her.
So this week Ann is officially on maternity leave, but she will be visiting you all to see your stunning creations and hopefully will be back down to earth next week to play along with everyone.
Isn't it a good thing that our wonderful Guest Designers are so amazingly talented and have provided our challenge with all the inspiration needed for this week's theme of ...
Scarves and Mittens

As usual they have produced some stunning work for us.  We do hope you will click on the links and visit their blogs both to find out more about the cards and also leave them a little love as kind comments are always appreciated.

Challenge 23 ... "Whateva!!"

"Whateva!!"
A single word spat out in a contemptuous tone accompanied by one or more of the following:
... strange hand gestures
... exaggerated eye-rolling, lip curling and/or sighing
... irritatingly rapid toe-tapping
... sassy posturing
... obviously raging hormones and the kind of defiant look that can make a person shrivel up and crystallise in 2 seconds flat
Put them all together ... and what do you have?
TEENAGERS!
Which is exactly what our theme is for this week.
Your mission ... should you choose to accept it .. is to create a Christmas card or project for a
Teenager
Tricky, Tricky, TRICKY!
The Humbuggers and our talented Guest Designers Christine and Wendy, have come up with a few ideas to get you started and hopefully help you with this difficult task.  If you'd like to know more details about this week's DT projects, or just want to leave some love for Ann, Max, Christine and Wendy,  please click on the links above each image to visit our personal blogs.
